Head of Product. Built Equals' AI analyst from 0 → 1 — and made it trustworthy through auditability, not just an answer, so users could check the math instead of trusting a black box. Refocused the roadmap and shipped 8 major releases in four months.
Overhauled the accountant platform for cross-client workflows; focused on oversight, insight, and foresight.

Smart ImportCo-invented Gusto's AI document parser (patent pending): sourced 1,000+ real customer spreadsheets as the eval corpus, then designed a hybrid architecture — an LLM classifies each spreadsheet's shape and writes the transformation code; deterministic processing handles the rest. Lifted extraction success from 50% to 95.8% and cut median payroll run time 24%.
Integrated Squarespace's first acquisition into the platform. Led brand overhaul, revamped mobile app, and launched invoicing.
